help with transbrake and 2 step wiring

I have a MSD Launch Master 2 step. I was using with my 5 speed and it worked great with the clutch. Now I have went to a C4 with transbrake. I got a hurst quarter stick with the pistol grip button. I wired the red wire to 12v and the black wire to the transbrake and the other transbrake wire to a ground. So i put inline with the black wire my 2 step wire that is white and blue and it will not work. The transbrake works fine but no 2 step. I tested the ground wire(its blue) to make sure the 2 step worked and it does. I'm lost.
