I know this is unrealated to mustangs but i didnt know where to post this to. My mom has an 87-thunderbird with a v-6, when she drives it it boggs down and dies. Then she says she can start it right up, the car is at normal operating temp and it dosnt overheat. Im trying to figure out this problem, does anybody have anysugestions?? any help i would appriciate :D

p.s. I think its a 3.8 v-6 with a carb and 2 fuel injectors sitting on top of the carb. That kinda set up. thanks

The fuel filter and the air filter are already new, Im still trying to think of a reason why the car would drive and the engine would cut out, then start back up again, problem hapens anytime and at any temp. :bang:

Man there are a lot of possibilities for that one. You're going to have to see if it's fuel or ignition. I had a car that would die every time I made a left turn. That sure took some time to find cause as soon as I sratightened it out it would start right up.
