I have:
Accufab Plenum
Accufab 75mm TB
Steeda Underdrive Pullies
Diablo Sport Chip
Bassani X-Pipe /w Hi flow cats
Magnapack Catback
3.73 gears
And I have a bunch of suspension work done

Besides Nitrous, a S/C... what other bolt ons are out there that can help me out?

I heard the K&N Desencharger is not bad.. I'm told the 80mm C&L isn't worth it.

I was thinking I might get some new agressive cams... I'm told that would give me about 10 more rwhp. I would love to get my heads Ported and Polished... and do the cams at the sametime but I believe that is out of my price range.

Any suggestions?

if you want great bolt on power for a mustang, go buy a 5.0.....seriously.

its a pain in the ass to get bolt on power from our cars, but heres your next step. dont bother with cams, the crap intake manifolds we have will choke them. go get some Longtube headers, you'll need a new X pipe but you would want a Dr Gas anyway with the longtubes. seriously, this will be the best money you spend on your car. might want to pick up a K&N FIPK II intake for the car, since u have the plenum and whatnot.

Yeah I was thinking my next mods would be LT headers and the K&N FIPK II . Why would I need a new X Pipe? I love the Bassani X-Pipe... it is great.

Thanks

Check out my mods...It depends on if you are doing the work yourself or not. If you do the work yourself, you can find used ported heads and used cams at half the price. I ran 297 RWHP 330 RWTQ without pulleys and cold air intake. The engine was warm from a 500 mile drive as well. With the engine cold, I probabally would have ran 305 RWHP. Most of my parts are used. Just something to think about.

yeah i feel the same way....

Tobias, you'll want a Dr. Gas cuz A) it will yeild more HP than a Bassani with the Longtube B) you'll have to shorten the Bassani to make it work and C) it sounds so goddamn sexy

seriously, LT's with a Dr Gas X, most amazing thing ever.

If you dont plan on putting a poweradder, get rid of the 3.73 gears. 4.10's atleast.

this would be to such little gain, for so much money, its a total waste of time. 3.73's are fine.

? such bigger gain you mean. if i wasn't going the s/c route i would swap my 3.73's for the 4.10's in a hoofbeat. 300 total for 4.10's (FRPP) and install is not 'so much money'

OK....so I have a few questions for you.

1. You're not Mustanglife by any chance are you?

2. What does your car dyno w/o the nitrous? Somehow I bet its not in the 285-300 range (or 315-330 range with ported heads) it would be if it had a good set of cams in it.

3. You're suggesting a CAI for performance?

4. Keeping 3.73s for a N/A car is a good idea and 4.10s will make a small difference?

5. What about the P51 and Bullit intakes? Are they too restrictive for you?

I think I hear the baby Jesus crying....

Stage IIs do nothing either.

Here is an '00 GT with the following mods:

- Weld-in Flowmaster mufflers
- Comp valve springs
- VT Stage II cams

Before cams: 236 RWHP
After cams: 264 RWHP

http://forums.modulardepot.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19084

I guess nearly 30hp is nothing

Timing adjuster, cams, long tube headers just to name a few. Ditch the 3.73s for some 4.10s.

Who are they done by? Make sure it is someone reputable and try to stay away from Patriot. Although I haven't had first-hand experience with them, there have been numerous reports of exhaust seats falling out of the heads and in turn causing bigger problems.
