I am currently only 15 and will be 16 soon. I just got a 89 lx with new tires, a cd player and a brand new alternator. It has 97,000 miles and i got it for cheap. You might be thinking 1000 bux or so chech this i bought it for an amazing $80. has a few tiny dents and has rust on the hatch but i love it. the interiors good so i was thinking a little engine swap may be in the plans, but i dono. have a good day and im gona go stare at my first car for a couple hours!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see you are starting young. $80, that's quite the steal. How's the paint job on it? If you read up on the tech articles then you can get a lot of ideas for modifications to make to your Mustang. Ranger header, CAI, catalytic converter gut, removal of air silencer, lots of things you can tinker with to give your car a little more power. Is it an automatic (A4LD) or a 5-speed manual (t-5)? Just a little bit of advice for you is always run a search before you ask questions, most likely the topic has been covered a thousand times already. Also, a couple guys on this forum have websites with really good info on them.

Stinger's - www.projecthp.ford23.com

I'm sure there are some other's as well, and I'm sure the guys will post the URL's soon enough.

Damn, $80? Wish my 2.3L stang woulda been that cheap (it was only worth about that much when I got it anyway, in my opinion...)

Welcomr to SN

Theres a ton of threads about moding these cars out here. If there something you can't find doing a search then post a question and we will see what we can do? I got some work I'm finnishing up on my SVO if you want to click on my link that will show you some interresting stuff on a 2.3T. Also that link they posted on ProjectPower is a great link for all kinds of wild things to do to your car.

Good Luck and have fun

I'm assuming that the first time you said manual tranny you meant automatic.
