The GT350 and I think some others may have got that fabric material. And I guess your right....she isn't as bad as I make her out to be.

Here is my problem. I am a Mercury Capri lover....I still really want anothe capri as I miss my old ones.. but this car fell into my lap for DIRT cheap, basically I stole it. So it is my toy for now.

The interior is in REAL good shape for 22 years old. All it needs inside are

-Headliner
-Dashpad
-Seat buckle sleeves on the front driver/pass side.

That interior was FILTHY when I got it. But the material was in great shape.

The car is originally a California car and that helped with the rust isssues. NO rot and very little here and there that need attention. Its got its share of dings and so on, so once I have it painted I will feel alot better.
I have a brand new set of GT350 Decals for it and a new set of Marchal foglights and covers.
I have another bumper cover for the front as well since the last owner cracked this one up.

Engine bay is stock outside of the 86+ headers...and needs some cleaning.

So...
-Finish inside
-Body and Paint
-Paint the Gold Mesh ARE's white and repolish the lips.
-8.8 w/ 3.73's
-and so on

Here are a few more pics.

As for selling the Capri's...

The Silver 86' was my first Capri and I had to sell it to buy a more "family" like vehicle as I now had 2 out of our 4 kids, and as you know these are not the roomiest and best drivers for the winter.

The White 86' I had for a year, and sold it back to the last owner. Again, I was renting, looking at houses, and just wasn't the right time to own her. I ended up with a lil S10 which works out nice having your first house, to haul stuff. Also got to modify it a bit. Here is a thumbnail as it don't belong onf a ford board...LOL

As for cleaning the interior and seats.

-Hoover Steam Vac, I used the wand attachment.
-Zep carpet cleaner solution available at Home Depot.
-Orange Blast by Grease Lightning on the heavy deposits.
-HOT tap water in the machine and I had an extra spray bottle with hot water too to soak it good.
-scrub brush, bristles not to hard.

-TIME and EFFORT, I spent about 6-8 hours scrubbing. But in the end was WELL worth it!

Thanks! Will these do?

Do you have any pics that are of a higher quality?

Something on the scale of 1280 pixels at 100-200dpi that aren't resized in MSpaint.

Higher quality pictures will make the cars look even more insane.
