If this is the wrong forum for this, then sorry and feel free to redirect it wherever (there's no offical new members place, so )

Anyway, the name's Aaron from Fayetteville, NC and I just picked up a Zinc Yellow 2002 GT this past weekend and so far I'm loving it! Car already had a Flowmaster exhaust system on it, and so far I've ordered a Mach1 chin spoiler and grill delete for it. Eventually I'll throw some gears in it, pullies, and get a tune. Otherwise I'm going to just use it as my daily until my other ride, a 1998 SVT Contour gets street legal again. Let the inspection and tags expire on that one while it sat broken for about 14 months. Anyway, on to some pictures:

and the soon to be daily again:

p.s. if the pics don't work I'll try again when I get off work, work filter blocks photobucket but i copied down the url's so I should be good to go.

-Aaron

I've never seen "Mustang GT" rocker panel stripes before. They look good. Car does also.

just exterior for now, got the chin spoiler and grill delete on the way. eventually i'll throw some gears in the back, nice set of cams, pullies/tune, the usual. don't really plan on going crazy at the moment, waiting to see where the military takes me in the next few months if i can cross train or if i'm getting out in less than a year from now.

Air Force, currently in Munitions looking to cross train into Space System Ops. been here at Pope my entire first enlistment (since Nov 2002) so needless to say I either want something different in another career field or I'm out.

i see you're out there at the Academy. Beautiful place Colorado Springs is. My uncle is a retired Lt. Col. (AF) and also graduated from the Academy way back when. I hope if I get this job that i can head out that way as well.

Welcome to :SNSign: Nice looking car! As far as mods go, I would suggest a nice dark window tint. Lighter colored cars always look good with dark tint.

thanks, yeah tint is on the way, just have to wait until I get my Ohio plates taken care of (so I don't get nagged by NC cops). How do you like that MGW shifter? A few people were recommending it to me on another site as far as aftermarket options to replace the stock shifter. that's also in the plans..down the line.

ha, no I don't think I can. My last project, a 96 Thunderbird was proof of that.

Awesome! Good luck with getting Space System Ops. With AFSPC HQ at Peterson, you'll have good chances ending up in colorado. If thats the case, look me up, and we'll go honda killing

Right now, all i know is that i'm going to pilot training in 2008. I'll fly the T-6 texan II, then hopefully the T-38. It depends on how well I do with those airframes that decides what I fly. Right now, my dream sheet is as follows:

1)F-15 (C or E)
2)F-16
3)A-10

Currently, I'm at Luke AFB for a TDY, and I just got 3 rides in the back seat of an F-16. That was the most kickass thing i've ever done, which just made concrete my dream to fly fighters. Although, the generals are saying that pilot training classes in 2008 will be the first to get the new F-22 straight from the T-38, so if I get that choice, I most def will not turn it down.

F-22's are badass. saw quite a few of them and 15's and 16's on a TDY i went to at Nellis last year. A-10's I deal with all the time so i'm rather tired of them and their 30mm gun, but everyone that flies them loves them.

MGW shifter is awesome! I have never heard of anybody not likeing(sp) their MGW. I hear you on the cops, they don't seem to like cars with dark tint!
