Where exactly do you run the main wire. i have the dash out and the heater core box in so i can see where to run them and there doesn't look like there is room anywhere. Also where do you cut the hole to allow the injector harness to run. I assume its right in the middle but i see no spot with the heater box installed.

Here is what i'm looking at.

So no one has hidden the main wire behind the dash, eh? I've seen a couple threads on engine bays and there were tons that had no engine wiring. It was a couple years back so i guess those guys left here.

There is plenty of room at the base of the windshield. I didn't run the engine harness there, but I had a pretty big harness of wires I added to the car to run misc. things that needed to be in the dash area. Here is a pic of how I ran mine and there was no problem with putting the heater box back in or the dash.

sweet, thats where i was going to place it for the "test run".

i need some help identifying these wires. i'm doing a 4cyl to 5.0 swap

This is on the main engine harness for the 5.0. I think its the ignition switch, a plug for the soloniod and i don't know what the round plug connects to. I do remember that plug on my 92 but i see no place to plug this into on the other engine harness.

This is the head light harness for the 4 cyl, i took the alternator harness off the 5.0 vehicle but i didn't take the headlight harness. It looks like the same plug from the pic above[square plug]. I don't know what the other plug is. What will happen if i leave them unplugged if this is in fact the ignition harness.

If I can't get help here i'll just post another thread.

Thanks

I can probably help you figure out what some of those plugs are for, but you're going to have to be very specific when explaining where they are. Example: "This plug is located inside the car on the driver side on the harness that comes through the large oval grommet on the firewall above and left of the steering column." If you are specific like that and show a couple of good close up pics of the plug that I can copy/paste on my desktop and enlarge for detail, then I might be able to walk you through some of this.
