Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, but wanted to get some opinions on this rear. It is designed to be ran in stock suspension classes with high horsepower applications. The rear can come in mild steel or chrome moly and uses the stock upper control arm pick up points and uses the lower control arm pick up points at any width. Obviously when running this kind of HP you will not be using the stock control arms, rather a 4-link style bar. Works with 86-04 mustangs.
Mild steel should hold up to 1200 HP (car weighing no more then 3200lbs) and chrome moly should handel whatever else you would like to throw at it.
So, for around $1,350 for a mild steel housing and chrome moly brakets, or $1,820 all moly what do you guys think? Are there any other alternatives?
This is not for a street application. This is for drag only in stock suspension classes trying to be competitive.
