High horsepower transmission choices?

I am currently building an '89 notch that I want to be a bad street/strip car. It is going to have a 331 with an hp single turbo kit. The problem I am having is choosing the correct transmission for this car. I am aiming for 600 rwhp and still be very driveable on the street (so transmission must have overdrive). What would be best, a tko600 or gforce or maybe a built aod? And also what rear gear with a 26" tire?

i would go with the TKO-600, it should handle that power and be more fun than an auto with that setup.

MMR 750, stronger than a reg 600 and 3k for the entire setup is not bad.
