I know the mileage is off due to the gears never getting calibrated when the original owner put them in. I am guessing that the correct miles is closer to 120-130K

Yeah, these cars really can go a long ways if taken care of. It seems like so many GT owners only like driving their cars on the weekends and nice days, so a lot of them age and depritiate significantly before seeing really high mileage.

My 97 is really getting up there, but feels GREAT to drive still. New tires, new struts and no CEL. The engine is still smooth and powerful, and I'm kinda wanting to get out to the track with the drop in K&N and underdrives added now.

Yeah. I think if you take care of *any* car, 150k (or even twice that) isn't too unbelievable.

Oddly enough, I passed 18,000 Saturday. 730 miles this year. At that rate, it'll take me 117 years to break 100k...

To the OP - you should invest in a speedcal. 99 bux well spent, and an easy installation (assuming the one you receive isn't defective )

most likely my car will never see that either. i've put 3600 miles a year on mine and it just tripped 34K on the way to MW. it should take me 32.2 more years to catch up with you!

I've put 4000 miles on my car since June 1... and I was in china for 3 weeks during that time.

At this rate, I'll reach 200k by May 2011... or about when I graduate. Could be sooner if I get the chance to travel.

heh heh, yeah. I'd be surprised if mine ever got near 40000 miles.

Who knows though, maybe one summer I'll drive the piss out of it...

One thing about not driving it all the time, it feels like a new toy every time I do.
