I would love to. We could really get some nice flat paint laid down on there. The only thing I hate about painting is when something goes wrong. I would hate if a "fisheye" or a "lifting" reaction happened. Then I would be bashed on stangnet....

No, I am really carefull not to get wax, silicone, grease, oil, or Armoral anywhere near my cars during body/paint time. Plus, with the sealer I use now, it really takes a lot of worrying about "lifting" out of painting, because the sealer seals everything in.
Some of the blues that you like I think are all metallic. I have only painted one car that was metallic. It came out pretty good, but I realized that I have to hold the gun further back and paint the car "drier" See, I got too close, leaving it too "wet", so the paint looked a little "stripey" in the sun. It wasn't too bad, I just criticize myself too much. I have seen brand new metallic cars painted by the factory that looked "blochy" and "stripey" in direct sunlight. I would be much better at it now.
