Check out my sig and notice that with a full HCI swap and almost all the bolt ons I am running 9.1's. I got a Pro 5.0 for xmas and am getting some Drag Radials in march. Only things I can think that are holding me back are bigger throttle body and 24 pound injectors. I know there are tons of variables but I want to touch the 12's and mabye the 300rwhp mark, between the TB and injectors which one do you think is holding me back more? Also is are there any Drag radials out there for a 16 inch rim that are wider than 245's? Thanks guys

Injectors you need to feed it don't starve it. I dont see a bigger fuel pump listed or an adjustable fuel pressure regulator your going to need those as well. And of course send your mass air back to get recalibrated to the larger injectors.

I have a adjustable FPR set for 42 pounds, and the recalibration is sort of whats been holding me back from doing the injectors swap. I would have to have no car for however long it takes them to calibrate it becuase I sold the stocker. So i would probably have to find a MAF/INJ setup off ebay or something. I have also wanted to do the long tubes but then again I would have to sell my new H-pipe and get one of theose as well so both of those upgrades would be pricey. I guess the TB is the least of my worries. I noticed a few people on here runnign 12's with shorties but I guess it is harder.

Fuel pump, injectors, dyno tune. There is your 300+rwhp mark.

I think a trip to the dyno might help you out here the most. It will tell you what power you are making now and if you are running lean. I ran 13's at 98mph with the stock heads and cam in my heavy vert. Here's a timeslip of one of my runs for comparison:

This was with 245-50-16 nitto DR's. I have gone as quick as a LOW 1.7 60' on them. BFG makes a 255 series in a 16" but they wear very quickly. I think you need more fule pressure right now with the stock injectors, but like I said the dyno will show you for sure.

I'm on the right BTW, my dad is on the left. This is a good example of what the extra weight does to my ET's. I'm a slightly better driver than my dad, but his ET'd better than mine due to its lighter weight.

I would be way more concerned with the stock inj's than the stock tb.

You do need both but your really pressing those small inj's.
