Brodix did design the casting for Holley and they work pretty well if cammed properly.

The older holley heads are not as good as the new brodix casting. I want to say they had valve guide wear problems. The newer heads flow fairly well and can make a strong combo.

The old Ped mount heads were Brodix castings, then AFR had a hand in some of the newer models before Holley took it inside.

Does the head have a seperate hole for the smog on the rear/front of the head or is it through the bolt hole like a stock head? This is the easiest way to tell.. Are the ped or stud mount?
