I want to order a rear panel today and I have a question about the quality of the KarKraft product. It's on sale now for $55 cheaper than the ones offered by CDC and MustangTuning. CDC and MustangTuning use what seems to be the exact same picture, but KarKraft has a low quality picture without the kit installed. My question is should I be concerned about the quality and/or appearence of the KarKraft panels just because they are much less expensive? Anybody had or seen both? Thanks.

I believe they are all selling the same part. The honeycomb panels are from the Mustang 35th anniversary package.

Where did you find them for $55 cheaper? I've been looking for a set but only found them in the~$160...which IMO is waaaay too much.

Check your local Ford dealer before you pay that. I believe they are obsolete so they may be hard to find but, maybe the parts guy can do a search and find one. I paid less than that when I got mine from the dealer.

I think that because Ford isn't making the part anymore some of these aftermarket places are getting away with highway robbery.

wow they are selling cobra spoilers for $250? Good thing my car is white and they only offer white! I think I'll be picking one of these up soon. ;-)

On that note, anyone in NJ wanna swap their V6 deck for a GT deck w/spoiler? White only of course.

I was thinking about that Cobra spoiler also, but didn't want to deal with the plugged holes on my deck. That's a good idea to trade with someone who has a V-6.

I'll check the Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealerships near me to see if they can get them. Thanks.

the center panel was discontinued 8/04 and the right one 4/05 so the left one is prob on its way out the door two. we do have access to all of them but except to pay @$150.00 or more for the set of 3
part #'s are XR3Z-6345558-AAA center, XR3Z-6345558-BAA right & XR3Z-6345558-CAA left

The dealership wanted $210.00 for them.

Foncarelli, I've never seen the panels up close but I wonder how they would re-stick to my car. I would think if I applied double-sided tape they would not be flush and thereby let water in.

Could you get them to NC in 3-4 days?

Here are a couple of rear-view shots of my GT with the honeycomb panels. They are not perfectly flush and water does get behind them but, it is not a big deal. There are a few more shots of the honeycomb panels in my Webshots gallery at the link in my signature.

Keep in mind when you buy them that you have to reuse the GT from your car. I had to buy another one because to get it off you remove some of te double sided tape. So have some on hand or buy a new GT symbol like I had to.

One old thread said to use dental floss to get them off. I have tape handy anyway.
