Hello stang mates...
Finaly I bought my dream 2 months back and now i am a proud owner of an 05 V6 stang

The stang is already striped with two lehmans stripes.
I am lookiing to buy a hood scoop that comes with stripes or a place where I can get the scoop striped?
I looked a lot , but i can find only pre-painted ones without stripes..

I am around rochester,NY ..

Any ideas folks??

Thanks in advance !
Vishal

I would just buy a pre painted hood scoop from stage3motorsports, then buy some stripes from them or americanmuscle.com and put them on afterwards

Hey Thanks guys for the feedback. I did think of having pre-painted scoop and buying stripes separately. However, I could nto find anyone who selld stripes just for scoop. I dont want to spend money on buyin the whole stripes and then cutting of a little for my use.

Ill check with ford dealer here and see what he has to offer.

Thanks,
Vishal

I've been toying with the idea of masking off two stripes and using PlastiDip. If you don't like it, peel it off. If you want to change the color, peel it off and change it up.

Someone has to have linear foot priced stripes???? Maybe not but http://graphic-express.com/k102_custom_dual_stripe.asp has a 3' piece but I'd check any of the graphics places for smaller pieces. Wouldn't hurt to ask American Muscle or such but my guess is they only have complete pkg kits.
You might also ask (AM or wherever) about painting the stripes on for you or think about doing it yourself...it's just a hood scoop. Tape it, prep it and spray it.
What about going with an all black hood scoop?

Not surprised AM wouldn't do it but it was worth a shot. All black might look good, depends on the width of your lines now and where the edges of the scoop fall on them. Something like this would look great in all black http://www.vinylgraphics.net/produc...ounded-Rally-Stripes-with-14-Inch-Pinstripes/

If you don't think it will, shouldn't matter what others think...it's your car and you have to see it every day.

I was thinking someplace like these might do smaller orders too...

If you have a sign business in your area, they can most likely make you what you want.

Heyyy..Sorry for the late reply...apparently, i did not get any alert email for the replies..I did stop by at ford dealership yesterday and he seemed more than happy to put the stripes on for the scoop. I ordered the 3' stripes from your previous post link.I shall post pics soon, probably by the end of week. Really appreciate you time in looking up diff options for me.

Thank you
