Hooker aerochamber muffler Q's

anyone have any experiance with em? im just gonna get some to go in place of the stockers for now till i do the cat back, but i dont want to go with the usual flowmaster/MAC/Magnaflow whatever, just wondering what else there is that sounds good but wont break the bank....




o also, what size is the exhaust pipe on a stock 96 GT?

I used a set of Hooker Maxflows for over a year before going to a Magnapack Catback and I loved them. In fact I still have them and would be willing to sell them to you. They are offset inlet, outlet 2.25 diameter which is the size you will need. They are straight through design and not chambered like the Aerochambers. They flow better too which is a plus. They are not as loud under regular engine load but they are quite a bit louder at WOT. Check out my soundclip at Mustangexhaust.com under 4.6L. It's the BBK LT's, modified Bassani o/r X, Hooker Maxflows. The soundclip didn't do it justice because I used a digital camera. They also have a sound clip with the Aerochamers.
