Parts list is smaller:

front brake hoses - ordered
Flare fittings for rear lines - ordered
Ignition switch - ordered
Firewall adjuster for clutch - trying to get it off my old car since he went auto. Waiting

to do:
Finish brakes once calipers are back
Move speedo cable out of clutch cable location
Finish install of said clutch cable
Fluids

So on auto cars, the speedo cable goes where the clutch cable goes on a manual car. So tonight, i had to pull the speedo cable (sucked) run the clutch cable (really sucked) and then run the speedo cable through a tiny hole in the firewall behind the intake and around the air box under the dash (super fcking sucked)
What’s really awesome is the guy ran a ground wire and the hose to the boost gauge through this hole too so I had to remove those and now have to rerun them. (Sht sammich)

the good news is that’s behind me and the clutch works so we are that much closer to driving again.

I feel ya man, I have not done a clutch cable but I just replaced my speedo cable and yes... even without all that bulsh (intentionally "misspelled") it still sucked!

Got some more parts today. Installed the new ignition switch, put the dash and the rest of the under hood parts together and twisted the key to hear ... silence.
I think I Got the NSS and the reverse light plug mixed up or something. Who knows. I didn’t feel like putting the car back on jack stands tonight so I quit.

i want a lift so bad I can taste it.

Ok, car no worky.

Turn the key - dash lights work, fuel pump primes, so it just seems like something is interrupting power to the starter. I searched around and a lot of threads come up, but no pics. Most all say "jumper the neutral safety switch" but all of the pics have been lost. I assume this does not mean the speed sensor at the back of the trans? Just when you think you know almost everything about these cars...

There are 2 plugs under the dash that attach to the clutch assembly and they're both plugged in. One on the left by the pedal and one on the quadrant.

Also, I found this plug hanging out of the steering column but can't find a plug for it...

Take the black plug off the pedal assemble and stick a 5amp fuse in there (or anything to jump it out). That’s the starter interrupter. It’s possibke the clutch pedal switch is broke. Mine was when I did my 5spd swap. Spent a day trying to figure out why car wouldn’t swap.

The nuetral sensor circuit is jumped on the 5-spd cars and only used on the AoD cars . It’s part of the reverse harness for the t-5 and is just a looped wire

Edit: Pic of harness. The red/blue wire is the jumper nuetral safety.

The nuetral gear switch on top of the t5 and the clear plug on the clutch pedal is different and controls idle strategy. You want both hooked up or you’ll have a hanging idle

Duh Collin. The NSS plug is just hanging under the car like it's got nothing better to be doing. Where can I find that plug? didnt see it on LMR
