Current status of the shop bathroom project: all plumbing is 100% functional, i just need to finish the vent line under the sink.
Cabinet box and top is finished, need to get the stock for the door slabs dried so I can make them - the wood was still too green to use.
All the wood you see here is solid walnut that I milled, dried(mostly) and turned into useable lumber. I’m mostly happy with it all, less some mistakes I made but don’t have the material to go back and re-do.

Next up is a shelf above the toilet.

Another project I’ve had going in the peripherals is a new driveway. It’s the sole reason I haven’t touched my car lately. Can’t afford to buy the rest of the parts! But, this is going to be nice when done. Black top coming next week, weather permitting.

Why? Moisture? The imperfections in the oak?
You don't want to be on the throne and have to reach up to flip a breaker?

It’s been a bitch. I’ve done everything I can do to cut costs. I did the culvert and head walls myself. 7 loads turned into 11 loads of crushed concrete. Sheesh.
But, it’s gonna be pretty cool.

No sir. The only permit required in my county is for septic. The culvert had to be 24” though per HOA guidelines.
