Update - The loaner MS was bad. LOL. This was one that I got in trade, then traded it away for powder coating. So, I gotta fix this thing that isnt even mine and gets me no closer to driving.
Same buddy has another bad one (which is why we made the trade) and we are going to send both off for repair and hope that we can get our buckets of bolts running again.

Hey everyone,
Car has a lovely layer of dust and bird sh!t on it from the stupid little birds that I cant keep from nesting in my shop. My annual wood sale is in a few weeks and that should provide funding to buy a new computer to get the car going. . . Finally!
In the mean time, I have been working on getting AC in the bronco. Apparently, all of the parts from a 98-02 Crown Victoria fit perfectly in an OBS, compressor is from a later model F-150. The only part I haven't figured out is the wiring. I found a thread from a while back that @Mustang5L5 replied to about diodes - Can I just splice a fox harness with the diode into my new harness and call it good to run the AC clutch?
Currently have all the major components installed, waiting on an adapter for the compressor before I can install the lines. This is relevant to the fox crowd also if youre doing a coyote OR I think it would be cool to do a low mount AC somehow and get the lines out of the way. I was planning on selling it but with diesel headed north of $7/gal it makes more sense to drive this thing since it runs on 87 and gets decent mileage.

For the Mustang? No I’m going with another megasquirt based computer. Should probably go Holley by now but the MS is what I know
Nope. Don't overthink. I always recommend choosing the tuner that knows your hardware. If you know your hardware, even better!
Not sure if this helps but the Dump Truck has a hydrolic pump similar to an AC pump, the electronic clutch clicks on/off just like the AC compressor and has a diode between two wires, been a while, I know the diode is directional and the reason it was added was because they found the clutch on the pump would engage intermittently and a engine driven hydraulic pump should not be engaged above 1500 RPMs.
You may get some info on how to hook it up from looking at hydraulic clutch pump wiring diagram.

Right! So, when the A/C clutch clicks off or opens, the permanent magnet and rotation act like a generator. The voltage generated likes to power the clutch coil [closed].
