I found a new set of Hoosier slicks with tubes real cheep from a friend. My question is, they are 28x10xr16. They were going on my buds Lightning. Will that tire fit under my Cobra. My tires now are 27x8xr18. I will buy 16x8 cobra clone wheels on line for the slicks. Will I have to drill out the rim for the valve stem? Should I screw the rim and tire?

Don't run the tubes, very hard to balance, and frankly you don't need them. Treat the inside of the tires w/a light coating of dawn dish detergant to keep them from leaking. As for screws, i think there ugly. if you're worried about spinning the wheel in the tire, us high tack on the bead to keep them put. A friend of mine has been 8.90's w/ no tubes or rim screws and just high tack
