Beaverton, OR
Has something like this ever happened in Beaverton? I think it would be fun to organize a day where we all get out the Stangs and meet up for some wings, beer, and eye candy. Possibly yell at the TV over a ballgame, talk cars, shop, women, etc... I don't want to sit around and do nothing this summer like I have done the past couple years since moving here, and I am thinking something like a cruise-in at the Hooters in Beaverton would be fun.

Any news on the club that the old thread was created for? Seems like the plans to take the idea further have dissipated :nonono:

Are ya tryin to add to your stable list? :D  As to the other question, I think it's still in the process just with every one busy and the weather still not much better theres no rush. But I could be wrong too. Have to see what THE BOSS has going on in his head about it.:nice:

Actually, for being a tall fat guy... I fend pretty well there with the waitresses. I have even had 2 hanging on my arm before going in on one of my old days off. Didn't take anyone home with me. I have SOME morals... :p

but not many, rofl

I am totally down for this. Name a time and a place. Would be really cool to spend a saturday or sunday having an impromptu car show, and maybe do a little parade through beaverton or portland afterwards. Would be fun to go out on the freeway and play.

There has been, in the past few years, some sort of Hooters car show in the summer or fall. I have never attended, as I was living further south in the state. Also, there have been times where the stangers have met at starbucks (or the bank) and then headed over to Hooters. It has always been a good time.

Right on, we totally need to do this one day during the summer. I am working on getting weekends off at work because I want to be able to go to shows this summer. I currently have Thursday and Friday nights off which is somewhat nice since I can still go out and party on Friday, but it doesn't help me much when shows take place on Saturday and Sunday and I work graveyard. I would have to sacrifice sleep to go which is hard for me to do, and anything taking place outside of the Portland Metro area is not possible unless I burn vacation days to go. I would rather take a stretch of days off and actually go on a vacation, so I am doing what I can to play my cards right and score the Sat-Sun off schedule. I hate shift bids, but my stats at work are top notch so I have a good chance of stealing the shift away from the person who has it right now and has worked with the company for 15 years. Heh, that would be sweet to steal her shift away being that I have only worked there a year :p

Actually Chris, your pics don't make you look that fat. You just look like a big tall guy that carries his weight well. I mean that.:nice:

To be honest, I do not believe that the car club idea is going to go anywhere right now. I am not speaking for Cory or anyone else for that matter, but have spoken to some. I will let those in charge of the idea speak for themselves if they so choose.

My name is Nick... :nonono:

But yes, I am a fatty fatty 2x4. 6'2" and 340ish...

Could be worse...one of my college room mates was 5'9'' tall and 340lbs. The funny part was that he honestly thought he was ripped. His famous quote was made as he sat on the couch and watched TV: "My body is very efficient at synthesizing muscle." To which I replied, "I can see that dude. You are a pillar of physical fitness." :nonono:

Sorry Nick for the name foobar, I'm still learning who everyone is here ya know? I try and write down who's who when a name shows up in a thread.
Am I forgiven yet or do I have to BEG for mercy? :jaw:

Hmm... BEG? On your knees? haha, let's not go there  I just thought that perhaps teh nick in my username might have thrown a hint. It's ok, I get called RANDOM names at work after I tell people my name. I get called Steve, Zack, Hank, Mitch, etc...

I have a good sense of humor about being a big guy. I have a few shirts that poke fun at being fat, and **** like that. I know I carry myself well, and I know that I am good looking for a fat guy. Never had a problem with the ladies. In fact, my sister swears up and down that I am a pimp daddy. If you were to ask her "Hey Christen, is your brother a pimp?" she will reply with something like "Yeah, that guy gets TONS of chicks. He's big pimpin". I guess I just have a good personality, a good sense of humor, and I am way immature. I crack a lot of smartassed comments and people just find me really amusing.
