hoping 13.5's?

do you still have the stock e6 heads? Those will probably hold you back, but with traction (like drag radial or slick traction) you should be close.

84 doesn't have E6 heads, E6 signifies the year they were introduced which is 86. C=60s,D=70s,E=80s,F=90s.

84 heads are not good heads by any means. I would expect mid to high 14s. If its your first time racing expect low 15s or high 14s.

its actually an 86 motor, the car was originally an 84 4 cyl auto (the heads are stock for the 86 tho), guy i got it off of said they where trickflow headers... but im not sure, they are the long tube headers but not sure what kind

I said low 15s high 14s with the stock 84 heads. E6 heads are alittle better and even with 4.10s you would be lucky to get out of the 14s. Most guys with stock E7s are lucky to get out of the 14s. It is possible though.

I have almost the same combo u should be in the high to mid 13's depening on ur driving more like a 13.98 ? did i hear sombody say 15's lol heck are e6s that bad

E6s are terrible heads that are not worth the iron they are made of. Theres a reason ford only used them on the mustang for 1 year.

how do u figure? there are tons of guys with e7s running well into the 13's , and there are mustangs that are stock running 13's , hell my 88gt with just 3.73s and a k and n and flows, with stock pullies, stock headers and stock midpipe, with street tires was craking a 14.2 and on sliks with no launce, leaving at idle a 1.8 60' got me 13.8 consistently. soooo:shrug:
