bone stock they dynoed it at 364 rwhp, with a hypertech tuner they got 407 rwhp, and then a 2.8inch pulley put them at 427 rwhp. thats without exhaust work.

thats pretty sick

Is it me or was that the lamest show ever! How do gain under 10hp when upping the boost by 4psi! Gaining 40hp with a hypertech is bogus too. Something is wrong there. I dunno. I would expect the 40hp to be from the 4psi pulley, and less then 10hp from the programmer. Does anyone else think something is wrong there?

Nope...That hypertech programmer had a preset program made specifically for a stock 03 Cobra...I can see it getting 40rwhp from just a tune on those cars...they have a very conservative tune from the factory...That's why they said they couldn't change the air induction or the exhaust because the program in the Hypertech was optimized for a car that didnt' have those things on it and it also has a program for up to a 2.80" pulley...427rwhp seems pretty right on track for a car with no other mods...add exhaust and air induction with say a predator or SCT tuner and that would probably add another good 40rwhp and it'd be a 460-470 rwhp car...which is right about what they put out with those mods...swap in a ported Apten eaton and it's at 500rwhp...

I just got off the phone with hypertech... they provide 3 programs, one for stock pully and two other pully programs... they said that CIA upgrades and Exhaust upgrades work with all three programs... with K&N FIPK2 CAI, and Magnaflow Cat-Back... I should be looking close to 450 HP & 460 TQ.... Makes me want to run as fast as I can to get a hypertech tuner
