I tried Derale 13014 and 13024 with no luck.
I'm trying to get a hose barb end on the bottom trans cooler line. I installed a cooler about 2 years ago with no leaks during spring and summer. But once the cold weather hits the hose shrinks a little and trans fluid leaks out. I've just gotten tired of it and want to secure the hose properly instead of sliding it over the flare and clamping it.
This brings me to my next question. Have I installed the cooler right? I wanted to use the t-stat in the radiator so I spliced the cooler in on the bottom line.
Should I have used the top?
