still broken hot headers no power over 2000

its not timing i retarded it and advanced it. still the red hot headers. now could my whole distributor be bad, dont know if they suppose to crap out or what, now in another post i read that a map or baro sensor could be bad, now which one do i have. already swap over to mass air , and no codes what gives
