I'm definitly up for it even though i'll be the only 15 second car :(

speed from DP would likely be able to come as well, and HoustonGT already mentioned it :nice:

I'd really like to get my cams installed first and the PI intake, though the cams will be done before the intake sadly. I guess I need to get in contact with MPH and set up my appointment :nice:
 
What are your mods? HoustonGT apparently can drive like hell or has somewhat of a factory freak.

My car is rather pathetic currently being that I went and got my baseline runs (before cams/intake/exhaust) it could only manage a 15.14 @ 91 w/ a 2.24 60'. It's not all that bad for a stock auto with 150+k miles though ;)
 
Bastrop is quite a drive though isn't it :rlaugh: but sure, ride your bike all the way to Baytown and get you some runs in ;)

Fridays > Sundays
I can actually compete with some of the ricers on Friday nights.
 
Well you had problems at LSR, not HRP, right?

HRP has been prepped nicely the last 3 times I have been. It wasn't doing well when the bracket finals were in Dallas being that they didn't have enough people knowing what the hell to do.

So.. Are we going Friday or what?

That leaves no time for any modifications for me but i'll just try to get into the 14s :rlaugh:

Surely the weather will be nice enough to drop me from the 15.1 to a 14.99. Everytime I seem to run the weather is horrible or it rains (last time the 2-day cold front came in).

Now the others need to chime in saying if they'll go or not :nice: BTW-Bring someone slow to run me :(
 
cool well im down for friday night, houstongt you need to give me some pointers man id love to see a 60ft below 2.1, the time i ran a 13.9 i had just lowered the psi in my tires to 29 i think, this time around im gonna lower them down to about 25 and see what it does

What tires are you running? I slipped the clutch very quickly from 1500-1700rpm on that 1.97 60' and then just lay in to it very quickly. Too bad it spun so hard into 2nd and even 3rd. The damn thing would've gone 13.4's easy with a 60' like that. :(
 
^Those stick VERY will @ HRP...I had those @ 30PSI and pulled a 1.909 60' down there on my first pass. Try the first launch @ around 3200RPM. (note, this was durring FFW...so that may have had something to do with it :D)

i assume you slipped the clutch instead of dropping it at 3200 right? If i drop it at anything over 2400 or so i just spin
 
Anyway im down for friday night and ill probably head out there as soon as i can to get as many runs in as possible so if you guys wanna meet up we can all park in front of the concession stand or somethin

Yes, but a fast slip...let it start moving and then came off the clutch while nailing the throttle. It was BARELY holding on though lol, it was truely right at the LIMIT of the tires...they were grabbing and then sortof skipping throughout the entire forst 60'. If I had any more power they would have went up in smoke (248RWHP)
