How big is our nipples lol

Does anybody know the size of the nipple that the metal smog tube goes to on the X-pipe or H-pipe? I need to plug it up so i was going to get a rubber hose but i dont no the size and shove a bolt in the end

Just squeeze the tube together with a vice grip and then weld it shut or just fold it and squeeze it some more if you dont have access to a welder. White trash engineering for sure but it works.

It uses a 3/4 inch tube. You can just go to pep boys and get a 3/4" heater hose plug. Thats what I used for the pipe going to the back of the heads. works well.

Thanks Raceoholic, I remeber ur stang from the Seaside cruise, your cars so nice, I finally got my new 306 in and running, beats my old motor with 10psi of oil pressure I had the Black fox with ponys and 2 1/2 cowl hood. Keep up the nice work Later
