This has been a problem for me. Ive tried to fix it before by jacking up the h pipe and tighting it down but it just seems to sag again over time. It sags right where the h pipe meets the cat back. It sags ebough to create an exhaust leak! Im afraid to jack it up to high because im afraid i'll create an exhaust leak at the headers. Any ideas? New bolts? If so, should i use stainless or Grade 8??

It's more common to sag under the tranny. If it's sagging in the back, I would say the ball/socket flanges are not tight enough (maybe the wrong bolts).

I believe all you need are 3/8 bolts just long enough to make it through the flanges (maybe 2") and some washers.

Other than that, you are doing it right -- get it as high up as possible and tighten down. :nice:
