I just bought a set of Steeda sway bars off of ebay for $200. The front bar went on kinda hard, but its on and perfect. As for the rear though, I was told to go out and buy 4 Gauge 8 nuts and bolts and some Loktite. Did that, got it on but it moves. Its just right between the lower control arms, not touching much of either one. Seems like the holes on the sway bar are larger than 3/8 like the holes on the lower control arms. So my question is, what the hell do I do!?

Thanks guys!

just drill out the contol arm holes to the size of the sway bar holes and put in bigger nuts and bolts. But i have a question for you. Did u put the bolts all the way through the control arms? If so i know on stock aplications they only go threw the outer side and have a lock nut style theing that fits over the way bar but inside of the contol arm there by pulling it tight against the control arm with out crushing it.

I put the bold all the way through. Kinda didnt want to, but then I decided to give it a try since there are two holes. Should I just go part way through?

What you SHOULD do is go out and get the proper size speed nuts that clip onto the bar. You can buy em at a hardware store (I know lowes carries speed nuts) and you should be able to find the right size. Get the ones that match the hole size in the swaybar, and then get some matching bolts. Otherwise, the swaybar will probably not be on there quite right and won't really help any.

So should I drill out the lower control arm holes? Because if I get bolts to match the sway bar holes, then it will be too big for the control arms. Sorry if I am just misunderstanding!

:nono: The speed nuts are too small to fit around the bar. They were a pain in the a$$ to get lined up and then trying to get the bolt in the hole was hard also:bang: I say get larger bolts and nuts and put them going for outside inwards and the nuts put them in the inner part of the control arm.

Well I've never had a problem with the speed nuts
OK, heres the deal. The problem is that the holes on the bar are larger than the holes in the control arm. Will the speed nuts work or will the other way work? I want to connect that damn thing! Pics or a more detailed description of speed nuts would help cause I dont even know what those are.

Thanks
