What are you basing this off of though? The fact that the PI intakes pictured have an aluminum cross over and the Non-PI’s don’t? Because early PI intakes were all plastic as well. The easiest way to tell is too look at the runner right where the injector boss is. The PI’s will have flat square ports, where the Non-PI’s will be round.

PI has only one coolant sensor hole (unless drilled in after the fact), NPI has two. The next clue is that the PI has a much lower bottom portion than the NPI. There is such a thing as a PI without the aluminum coolant runner just like there are NPI with the aluminum coolant runner (Aftermarket purchase).

The easiest way to tell is to look at the 1st intake runner.
On the NPI the 1st runner is on the right side(pass.side) and on the PI the 1st runner is from the left side(driverside).

The deeper runner is how to tell best. If it looks like a family of cats can live under the intake...you have an NPI...

That's why you have to swap out the heater tube so it will fit in there...

Mine looks like the top one (dirty one), but I do have the aluminum crossover. I think lookin at the pics there's a pretty obvious difference if you look at the runners.
Thanks again for the help.
