#1ok, so i just got done with my t-5 conversion from aod on my 90 lx, i cant start the car without jumping the starter solonoid. im not in need of a clutch switch/neutral safety swith so how do i bypass this?

#2 looking at the scematics i should run the pink/white wire on the column to the wire on the top of the solonoid, sound right?

You should not need to run any wires for this. I believe all you will have to do is use the jumper plug that came out of the harness that plugs into your pedal assembly -- simply put it back in.

Although something else seems wrong if it doesn;'t even start now with the clutch pushed...what all did you do for your wiring changes already?

Did you use the 'clutch down' switch on when you did the swap? If the button gets broke on that (like it did on my manual stang) I just unplugged the switch and ran a wire from one prong to the other (so there is continuity) until I got a new one from the dealer. Other than that I don't know anything about the AOD trannys...you should of just bought a t-5 car instead of doing the swap in my opinion. Good luck.

yeah, unfortunately this was the car i wanted, a grey notch, and a great deal, i wasnt gonna be to picky about the transmission, the aod held up fine, just got a great deal on the t-5 stuff, im into the swap about $50 if you put what i sold the aod for up against what i spent, and the car runs great.

anyhow, good idea, ill just reuse the old bypass from aod pedal assembly. thanks!
