How do i get the peice of **** brake lines off?

How do i get the front soft lines off of the hard line.??
I Took out the clip off and melted the god damn hose off trying to heat up the threads enough to break the bolts lose. I rounded the big nut but the hard line nut is still good.
What the hell am i to do?? i ruined the stock line and i cant get my stainless steels on there with out freeing up the hard line.

Hang in there - on my Volvo I ended up having to completely hacksaw the fitting off and buy used hard lines from the junk yard; I was removing them to put braided stainless lines in place of the rubber lines up front. And my car has 4-piston calipers with TWO soft lines running to each caliper -- so there were 4 fittings to cut through, 4 hard lines to place and 4 stainless lines to put on. It ended taking me a ful 2 days to get the job done. Good luck.

Oh - hopefully you haven't let the master cylinder run dry of fluid -- they can be a real bear to get the air out of unless you can bench-bleed them.

use an open end wrench its the one that is cut open enough to get the brake lines through, if you did that try using wd40

The clip keeps the whole thing from spinning when you try to unbolt the line. Use a flare or line wrench on the hard line part and use a vise grip on the rounded part of the soft line.That's getting replaced anyway so it doesn't matter if you bugger it up getting it off.

I broke one side taking the rusty line out. The fitting came out, but twisted the brake line braking it.
Definetely get a brake line wrench.

IMO, get a new brake fitting, cut the hardline, then put the fitting on and cut and flare it. Goto the junkyard and get another little bracket.
