I finally made some time to do my UCA since the car has been out of commission to do the clutch. The UCA's are real easy and straight foward just 2 bolts, but the rear axle bushings are a PITA.

Any one have any tips on how to remove them and does the metal collar that is connected to the axle that surrounds the bushing come out too or is just the rubber inside. Also the bushing Steeda supplied has 2 pieces a larger ring and the smaller longer bushing, what is order they go in. If anyone has pictures or a good how to please let me know.

Thanks

use the largest hole saw that will fit within the axle bushing retainers to remove as much of the rubber as possible. Then, use an air die grinder with an abrasive tip to get the remaining rubber out and down to bare metal. Painful, tedious, and time consuming, but certainly possible. It took me and a buddy about two hours, one of us working on each side.
