T-handle is threaded to the shifter lever, aughta just spin off. You could change the whole lever, if its like welded on or something, lift the boot over the handle and you'll see the couple nuts/bolts for that. You can get those parts from all the places in the magazines, depending on what you wanna do. Ran my nitrous through my last T-handle, though, if you're doing something like that.

If you're going to unbolt the whole shifter arm are you open to bolting a new short shifter in its place?

Sorry to not be of more help. Was thinking you meant a T handle like a screw on or allen secured shift knob for a 5 speed. *Smacks forehead*

Push the button in, and yank...HARD. Watch your head so you don't smack yourself.

And pay no mind to the automatic haters.

Not hating, more consistant, just alway's had 5 speed's. Are these thing's easy to change? Information never hurt, and I'll watch this thread to see how this is done.

The T-handles are easy to change. The key thing is to make sure the spring doesn't go flying without you noticing. It can get lost easily and you could not even know it's missing.

I'm swapping out my AOD (can't believe it's lasted this long) in a couple weeks in favor of a custom-built 4R70W electric/manual. Can't wait to feel that thing under the car.
