Shop said the noise I'm hearing (only at 1500rpm) could be a spun bearing so I changed the oil to a thicker weight.
Ambient temp: 55-59 deg F
Oil: Pennzoil 10W40 conventional, just changed on Saturday.
Cold Idle: 850rpm
Fuel Pressure at cold idle: 38psi
Oil pressure at cold idle: 55 psi
After about 20 minutes of idling to warm up, the pressure was 40psi. After 25 minutes I'd say the car was truly at "hot idle" and the pressure fluctuated between 35-42 psi.
Revving it up to 4k, the pressure never went above 55 psi. I know the norm is about 25 psi for a hot idle, how does that correlate to the 10W40 I'm running?
