i do not wish to become part or the split shortblock crew.

I have checked with the screw driver test.... but looking this morning it looks really wobbly.

apearances have been decieving before and i want a sure fire way to see if its off.

AFM cam > buying a new balancer , but i do have to protect my assets.

Is the rubber coming out of the backside of it?

I can't really say how much. You'll know just by looking at it. One side of the rubber will be sticking out much farther than the rest.

Just feel around the back of the balancer for rubber that isnt flush with the balancer. Its better to be safe and get a new one than run with a bad one.

i just put my car on blocks, started the car, and got under there and watched it spin (a bit dangerous). you can see it wobbling around. There is also rubber popping out the back. if there is more than what would seem "normal", then replace it, no questions asked

when it starts to go, you might find your timing marks are way off, as well.

as said by everyone, should you have ANY doubts, get a new one!
