OK, quick question. how do you paint over chrome? What prep is involved to get the paint to stick and not flake off of chrome?

Cheap way:
Sand it with a meduim grit sand paper or Scotchbrite pad. Then paint. This assumes the chrome is not gonna peel off!!
And don't sand through the chrome.
Expensive way:
Sandblast/strip the chrome off. Then primer/paint.
