My opinion, cam will fall off before the intake does. Should have good street manners and be easy to cruise around with. Should make 300-350 at the crank (assuming electric fans). Sounds fun.
Stock cam, 1.7's and the explorer intake in a light body (you didn't say what you were putting it in?) makes for a spunky ride.
I think I must have looked up the wrong head, when I looked again it didn't say 'not compatible ' just cautioned about checking PTV clearance.haven't seen anywhere that says I can't use these heads with stock pistons.
According to AFR, only 1986 5.0 engines need PTV clearance checked.I would worry about the ptv clearance if using a factory piston.
For sure TW heads have clearance, inline valve heads have a good possibility of not having it.
