how far will 24s go??

I wouldn't use 24s in your app. I had to raise the fuel pressure to over 50 psi to get them to work with my n/a 320 rwhp application. I can't imagine the pressure you'd need to add on top of that to make them work with more power AND forced induction. Go with 30s at least. I think 42s may be overkill, but you could make 'em work.

an f or e cam are pretty good blower cams. as good as an ots cam can be anyway

Maximum HP that 24#'s can support is 307.2, to be exact. However, that would be at a safe 80% duty cycle. Always go (slightly) bigger than you need, never smaller, but by the same token, never go overboard, and buy the biggest available, unless you have some sort of system to control them (PMS, Tweeker etc.) 30#s would be a better choice.

I feel like once you go Forced Induction you absolutely need to get a tuner or custom chip. IMO getting a chip is worthless because anything you do to the car after that point requires a reflash...which not only gets expensive but time consuming. You should get a tweecer or PMS (Im very happy with my tweecer) and get 42#s and be done with it. Get a wideband and you will be all set for any future mods or boost changes. Not to mention with the tweecer you can store up to 4 different tunes so you can program one for cheap gas daily driving and another for higher octane track passes....and everything in between. And you can change between tunes with the flick of a knob while the car is cruising down the street. When you get the cash, ditch the FMU, get a tweecer and some 42# and get all the potential out of that combo.

I would not evan consider 24's as a option for a boosted application. If your think of going with 8 to 10 psi go with the 42's. Find a lighning maf and get it tuned your head gaskets will thank you. Your probably pushing the limit of the 19''s with a fmu and only 5 psi right now and any more boost could lead to a dangerously lean condition.
