How hard is replacing the various IRS Bushings?

In the ongoing battle to destroy wheel hop, I am looking to replace the diff, subframe, and control arm bushings with stiffer ones (as well as install a pinion brace) How difficult is it to replace these?

On a side note, the Paul's High Performance pinion brace is nearly $50 more than the Steeda or Ford braces. Is there any performance difference to warrent this, or should I just go with one of the other two cheaper braces?

Thanks

Get real chummy with your Ford tech, then take it in for the wheel hop and have the bushings replaced under warranty, only put the MM parts in the trunk... Might work, cause it did for me...

I still get wheel hop but it is not as bad...

I just did the subframe and diff bushings last Tues. Local shop did the install, and I was able to help out as well. Boy am I glad I did not try to do it on my own.

Was pretty much an all day job and that was working in a shop with someone with the right tools and experience doing it before.

Was it worth it? Not quite sure yet. I still got hop, but it is better. You are pretty much going to have the entire rear assembly apart, you should consider doing springs and a Billetflow diff brace while you are in there. I wish I did, but just did not have the $ for the extra stuff right now.

I'm gonna be tackling the IRS in the next few weeks, new bushings, torque brace, etc. Should be a PITA but I hope it helps out when I run E/T Streets at the track.
