My rear slowly went flat going about 65 on the highway. I nailed the gas in 5th and the rpms just shot up... it was spinning the tire on the rim :rlaugh:

I threw on my ugly bias ply god-knows-how-old spare tire and away I went, very slowly :)

My Mustang isn't up and going yet but when I do I'll have my own spare, jack and lug wrench. I don't want to wait for an old tow truck. I might be in a hurry. I don't really think I'll need the spare because I plan on having good tires all of the time but you never know. It is better to be prepared and not need it than need it and not have it.

I changed my first tire on the side of the highway with my original jack and ratchet tool thing... boy was that a pain in the ass :nono:

Which Honda? Civics have 4 lugs---will they work on a I6 stang?

The donut from my Honda minivan is 5 on 4.5 just like the Mustang so I bring that along when needed.

If I don't bring the donut spare I always have my AAA card and cell phone :D
