How have you prepared your Mustang for a flat tire

I only carry a cell phone-

I have no room for a spare....I also have 100 miles of free towing on my AAA card- I am never more then 100 miles from home with that car- so Im good-

I havent had to use it for that yet though, i have a spare..a jack and a lug wrench all next to eachother at home for when i need it.

AAA and the cell phone. The 100 mile rule applies. I just haven't had the money to buy another 17x8 wheel and tire for the trunk - need something that big to get around 13" Baers.

My rear slowly went flat going about 65 on the highway. I nailed the gas in 5th and the rpms just shot up... it was spinning the tire on the rim

I threw on my ugly bias ply god-knows-how-old spare tire and away I went, very slowly

Which Honda? Civics have 4 lugs---will they work on a I6 stang?

My Mustang isn't up and going yet but when I do I'll have my own spare, jack and lug wrench. I don't want to wait for an old tow truck. I might be in a hurry. I don't really think I'll need the spare because I plan on having good tires all of the time but you never know. It is better to be prepared and not need it than need it and not have it.

After I get my suspension worked out, I'll replace the tires with run-flats with sensors installed in the wheels: I want to put the battery in the trunk along with a sub and amps.

I changed my first tire on the side of the highway with my original jack and ratchet tool thing... boy was that a pain in the ass

my first flat happend in the high school parking lot. 2 cans of fix a flat got me to the nearest gas station wher ei pumped air into it. why do they make you pay 50 cents for air... thats stupid

I burn the spare.......wait, I still the original tools/jack and a fullsize spare! It's the '84 that's missing everything but the tire.

So yeah, I'll try to change it on the '68 and I'll just burn the space-saver if I'm in the SVO.

The donut from my Honda minivan is 5 on 4.5 just like the Mustang so I bring that along when needed.

If I don't bring the donut spare I always have my AAA card and cell phone
