How hot will my supercharger get?

eXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS, HOW HOT WILL MY M90 GET? oops caps

I am sanding it now and I have high performance enamel that says not to apply to items that exceed 200* F. I don't think i would get that hot... would it?



Oh BTW sanding an m90 is a bitch with all its fins!

Id get paint that can take temps hotter then that especially since its going to be down near the headers.

Ah, i though it was going to be down low like the one somebody posted pics of in the other thread.

no its going where the stock air box is now.

I went ahead and simple greened it(to remove grime), sanded and wire brushed between the fins, then wiped it all down again and used a tooth brush to remove stuff that was between the fins and painted a first coat.

I am gonna update my thread with pics and such in a few minutes.
