Long time no post in here... I'm going great, the 5.0L Cougar is holding up pretty good, I've started collecting parts for the spring (cobra intake, 65mm TB, etc...). It's super fun in the snow too lol I got X-ice tires and it helps out a lot, I seriously suggest these tires to anyone, they WILL save your life one day! I'm picking on the ricers at all 4 of our seasons, there is no escape from me!
I just can't wait to slap the 4:10's on there but I will wait until there is no more snow since the 3:08 is enough to get me in trouble sometimes lolI'm helping to build up my uncle's 83 Capri, I'm building his engine with 1969 Closed chamber 302 heads, performer RPM intake, 570cfm street avenger carb, long tube headers, E303 cam... It should be a pretty fun little street engine. I'm going to detail his engine bay, much like I did with my Mustang.
I miss my fox body very much and I'd love another one but I'm saving up for a house so another car is out of the question. The Cougar will have to do for now, at least it's a 5.0! But it's not bad of a car, it will outhandle a lot of cars out there (it has IRS, well balanced body). Plus I'm starting to like the plush seats, and power everything (turning into a lazy bastard).
I hope you guys don't miss your cars too much, winter is just about to start with the 20+ cm of snow around here hehe!
