I have had mine for about 6 years and I have spent over 40k on it Thanks to doing things twice and messing crap up at times and not skimping on anything. I'm freaking done now. Thank you lord. Once u actually figure it out its kind of disgusting.

I'd say the Magazine feature would make it all worth it

Cars as an investment are . You don't get into the hobby if you want to make money back. The exception for me anyhow would be from 88 to about 91, when my 5.0's (or rather, other guys 5.0's, or IROC's, Vette's, Formula's...you get the idea) paid me back my money on about a nightly basis on South Chicago Avenue, Doty and Frontage Roads...other than that, none of its come back! Yet!

Refreshing old parts - $1G
Suspension Upgrade- $2500
CCWs that are on there way over = $2500
Skins for the CCWs = $800


And thats it for the next 9 months!!

Bought the four-eyed freak in Sept 99, it's been in it's current condition since June 2000.

Bought the 88 LX T-top Saleen clone in June 04.

Bought my 90 GT vert in December 08, a drunk driver destroyed it in January 2010. About 13 months I had the car and I spent probably over 15k including the original cost of the car. TrickFlow H/C/I, pretty much all the boltons, some suspension and a full audio system. Insurance gave me a whopping 5k for it, and the other day I used it to buy a 93 LX vert.

Sooo basically I haven't learned a thing.

I've had mine since high school so thats 11 years and paid 4500 for it and have dumped 9500.00 in just engine and tranny work...89 LX 5.0

Not including the 2000gt that i had that was a big mistake. POS car
I still have the LX will end up being my sons car.

I bought the 93 new, so I have had it for 17 years now. It has 169,000 miles on it now. other than general maintence I don't know how much I have spent on it. I think the worst part is that I am on my 4th t-5.

The 86 I have had for about a year now and I have probably put $1,000 into it.

The 88 I have had for about 6 months and I have put nothing into it. I have no time to work on it with the other two.
