Hey guys,

Can anyone provide the part number of their oil dip stick? Still trying to figure out what the previous owner of my 94GT did, but the oil level on the stick thats in there reads about 2" inches above the full line.. even when i know i've put in the correct amount of oil. All i can think of is that along with the dipstick tube i found in there.. the dipstick is too longer and not for that car.

Thanks.

Put the correct amount of oil in there, and then scratch a line on the dipstick, so you know that's the full mark. I would help you, but I don't have a stock dipstick either.

When you drained the oil did you drain both plugs and change the filter, then add 5 quarts of oil, then start the car, then let it settle and check the oil?

My dipstick has 29" of dipstick protruding from the handle and there is an "M" stamped in the piece that is connected to the handle before it is riveted to the part that actually goes into the oil pan if that makes sense...
