How Low Do YOU Go?

x8 and I had an interesting conversation about 10 minutes ago on how low our cars sit, so we measured them up and this is what we got:

Front lip to ground - 7.9 inches
Rear lip to ground - 11.9 inches
Sideskirt lip to ground - 6 inches
Front wheel lip to ground - 25 inches
Rear Wheel lip to ground - 26.3 inches

Caldwell

Front lip to ground - 7.9 inches
Rear lip to ground - 12.75 inches
Sideskirt lip to ground - 6.75 inches
Front wheel lip to ground - 25.75 inches
Rear wheel lip to ground - 27 inches

I just thought it was pretty interesting to see... and thought maybe others would wanna know JUST HOW THEY MEASURE UP!@@#!!


Here's a diagram of where we were measuring:

And the front rear lip and the rear lip would just be the centres of the body to the ground also

Yea.. I know what you mean... sometimes I actually bottom out on the freeway I am actually planning to raise her up some so that she is more streetable.

Mine is low enough to be annoying (I cant get any jacks under it, so I have to roll onto a 2X4 first). I will have to measure.

side skirts must sit lower with it lowered compared to a fox.

my front lip to ground is 25" and my rear is 26" with 18" wheels. sideskirt to ground is about 8". front wheel lip to ground was almost 4". didnt check rear.
