1 and an 1/8 quarts on the diff and 3 1/4 on the tranny.....i also highly recommend RP SynchroMax MTF and their gear oil.....no need to add friction modifier to the diff with RP
The GT 8.8 solid diff uses 3.75 to 4.0 pints (75W90 for 2001 and older, 75W140 for 2002+). That's almost two quart bottles. Will have some left over (more if adding friction modifier). Remember it is not fill until it runs out.
Buy 4 quarts of Mecron V (or what ever manual transmission fluid you want) for the T45 manual transmission.
You don't know what a pint is? WTF? 2 pints in a quart...4 quarts=1 gallon...I'm no suzi homemaker, but these are pretty fundamental my friend. Also of note - 16 oz in a pint, 32 oz in a quart, 128 oz in a gallon (and 40 oz in a 'forty' )
My buddy has access to Mitchell on demand and said fill capacity for T45
Is 6.6 quarts. But here you folks say 4. An any o r cite the source of the info ?
