How much and where to get a 5th gear gearset?

5th gear is out on my tranny, didn't make any noise, just nailed a hard bump going accross a bridge doing well above the speedlimit and it was like mashing the clutch in. Didn't hear any noises, but where would be the best place to get a gearset if it came to that? Thanks. 1-4 and reverse are all good, just need 5th.

How do you know 5th gear blew? Have you opened the tranny?

It's possible the snap ring or roll pin broke and it popped out. 5th gear has a LOT of teeth and unless you had a "rocks in tranny" sort of feeling, i bet the gearset is fine

Haven't popped her open. I was just curious in case I did need a gearset. 5th had a couple chipped teeth when assembled but they were 2 fairly small chunks on the big gear. Just had me concerned. My primary guess is the roll pin.
