I am looking at another stang now that I sold the fastback....
ok, how much can i do this stuff for....

rebuild the ac compressor -
convert the car from a generator to an alternator -
add front disk brakes -
add power front disk brakes -
power steering -

Now, I am not just wanting all johns mustang prices, maybe some nice restomod ideas like this one guy took 89 lx brakes and put em on his 66...just wanting to know how much $$$ i am looking at.

btw, itd be for a 64.5 mustang coupe with a 260 v8...

i'd normally tell you to go ahead and mod the crap out of a car, but an early 65 with a 260... you'd be taking away pretty much all the things that make a 64.5 special. why not find a plain 65 or 66 coupe, it will probably save you a bit on the purchase price as well.

but anyways,

power discs could be anywhere from 500-2500, from a junkyard granada setup to a baer track setup.

never done an ac comp or a gen-to-alt, so no help there.

you could probably get the power steering gear from someone for pretty cheap, as most people go the other way, from power to manual. then add maybe 200 bucks or so to get it in good shape.
