How much does a T5 weigh?

I'm helping a friend take a T5 off his car on Sunday. Does anybody know how much a T5 weighs? I've searched and can't find anything. I know a AOD is 60 pounds heavier but thats it. Is a tranny jack needed with a T5? Im thinking No cause it looks kinda small.

Also we have everything off the car except the bellhousing bolts. Just take the bolts off and just slide the tranny off the spline should I be really careful here or is that spline pretty heavy-duty and wont break/bend. First tranny job.

i think its like 50-60lbs. I got a couple C-4's in the garage and they weigh something like 70lbs. but I think the T5 is lighter.

with fluid a t-5 weighs about 100lbs...

I never use a tranny jack to install one... Mind you I have a hoist or 13 to work with so I dont know what it would be like doing one on the ground...

I just did a AOD to T5 conversion, and I would swear the AOD is twice the weight of the T5. Not sure of the exact weight, but if you have only 2 guys I would use a floor jack to keep the tranny level while you wiggle it loose. BTW, did the whole conversion on the ground and it was a PITA. Glad I did it tho.

tranny jack? i removed my T5 by myself with no jack..just unbolted it and slid it out onto my chest and rolled out from under the car...would need two ppl to put on in though..one to lift it up and hold it one to put bolts in...
